Weird Girl Winter Rituals

Hiii. Yesterday I re-read and annotated Audre Lorde’s essay Uses of the Erotic. Her writing almost always remains in that state of beauty and elusivity, so of course, there are concepts and sentences I am still grappling with. Nonetheless, the way she uses words to worship eroticism and its nature reminded me of my own personal practices….acting like a beautiful animal, making myself feel like a housewife awaiting a charming husband to motivate me to clean, and meditating to slow music in the dark while I shower. Check out the rituals we’ve listed below! (some erotic, some not)....Maybe they’ll inspire you to tap into a part of yourself you’ve repressed or make daily life more exciting/aesthetically pleasing. Enjoy <3
