TheGospel According to Sarah Sturm
About Me
I am Sarah Sturm. I’m 26 and have lived half my life in rural Virginia and the other half in North Jersey, where I currently reside. I did a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature with a minor in Arabic at Montclair State University. I currently work in the publishing industry in New York City. I’m a December Sagittarius. I live with my little sister and two beloved cats.

Telling people to “pour one out for me” when I can’t make it to the hangout
Quiet nights with friends who give me the strength
Talking about dead loved ones
Cleverness
Sincerity
Canned fish
Artists who only release music once every few years
A mountain, an ocean, a city
Desires
The ability to run on less than eight hours of sleep — any less than this, my entire life falls apart
To listen to every song ever made across all genres
A permanent cure to eczema, which has been near-permanent on my right hand for five years. I call it my grandfather hand
To publish a book someday
Less attachment to my desires

Core Values
Take advantage of being young and healthy for as long as you can. We are young and have time even if we’re at the age where everyone says we’re getting old and running out of time
We should all believe in at least one fantastical thing
Quality over quantity
Laugh as often as you can
If you’re going to be extremely online, at least know what’s happening in the world
Knowledge is power, knowledge should breed action
Free Palestine
