We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, including your name, email address, and username. We also collect information about your activity within the app, such as books you add to your shelf, annotations, reading streaks, and content you post to the community.
If you subscribe to a paid membership, payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve the app, personalize your experience, send you streak reminders and notifications you opt into, and communicate with you about your account or membership.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@hotliterati.com.
Children's Privacy
Hot Literati is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
