About
Questions over answers. That's the whole discipline. Philosophy is the oldest intellectual tradition in the Western world — and the least finished. Every other discipline eventually breaks off from it: physics, psychology, political science, economics, all of them started as philosophy. What remains is the set of questions that can't be answered by experiment or observation alone. What is knowledge? What is real? How should we live? What do we owe each other? These questions don't have final answers. That's not a failure of philosophy — it's the point. Philosophy teaches you to live well inside uncertainty, to hold positions rigorously without confusing rigor for certainty, and to think in a way that doesn't collapse the moment someone pushes back.
